Executive Vice President and Head of Original Production, EMEA Anthony Root of the Content Powerhouse – March 23 – announced that it will invest $1 million over the next three years behind a SeriesMania Institute initiative driven by the fast-growing SeriesMania TV series festival.
Present at the Series Mania Forum during the announcement were festival founder and CEO Laurence Herszberg and Series Mania Institute project manager Pierre Ziemniak. HBO Max will join Newen (founding partner), France Télévisions and Entreprises et Cités, The Series Mania Institute, launched last year, is an initiative entirely dedicated to training the professionals of the European TV series of tomorrow.
The organization also benefits from the support of the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL), the Hauts-de-France Region and the CNC, as well as partnerships with some of the largest European schools, including La Fémis and Sciences Po Lille. His European course Eureka Series is supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA program of the European Union.
