Manchester-based film and video production company The Gate Films have teamed up with West Midlands agency M3 to work on a TV campaign for MG Motors.
The television campaign is to launch the new MG ZS EV electric car from MG Motors. The TV spots were created by M3 Agency and its creative duo Shaun Loynds and Stu Perry appointed The Gate to work with director Giles Ripley to bring his vision to the screen.
Produced in Manchester, The Gate spent over a month in post-production working closely with Manchester’s creative production studio Flipbook to bring the campaign characters to life.
“It was a great campaign to produce, from start to finish the process was really collaborative, that’s how we like working with our partner agencies. It was also our first time working with the director, Giles Ripley, whose attention to detail and passion for the project was unwavering James Shannon, co-head of production at The Gate.
Creative Director Stu Perry and Senior Art Director Shaun Loynds of M3, on their collaboration with The Gate, added: “As always – reliable, adaptable and amazing at getting things done! Not to mention delivering what was promised and more.
The 1930s and 10s TVCs launched on Boxing Day and aired on national channels.
