Newman, who is also a managing director, said: “Our objective when investing the North East Fund was to use it to bring the knowledge, capability and scale into the business that we felt we needed to achieve our ambitions, and it is a position that we have been able to achieve more quickly than expected.

“We have worked successfully with the Digital Sidekick team for several years and our expectations that we would be stronger together have proven true over the past year.

“Our goal for the next few years is to continue on this path of growth, work with more high-profile clients around the world, and put in place all the structures and capabilities we believe we need by the middle of the decade. .to achieve our long-term business goals.”

He added: “NEL’s support has been absolutely crucial to the progress we’ve made over the past two years and we wouldn’t have been able to achieve as much as we have without them.”

Mark Wharton, Senior Portfolio Manager at NEL Fund Managers, added: “YourFilm has made tremendous progress in a short time and is ready to move into the next phase of its development.

“Investors leaving their investment relationships with us earlier than expected is good news as it means our growth capital is having the desired positive impact on their business performance, and we will be watching to see how YourFilm fares. forward with great interest.”
